Washington Tourism Visit to Illusion Winery
Washington tourism and the Illusion Winery go together beautifully. You can take your trip to the Wine County and visit over 30 wineries in this beautiful part of the state. The Illusion is a small winery tucked into the hills above the Columbia River. The tasting room is open most weekends during the summer to allow you to come and try different wines to see which ones you like the best.
The view from the winery and Dante’s Ranch Vineyard is awesome with its sweeping views of Dillacort Canyon, Swale Canyon, Stacker Butte as well as Mount Adams, Mount Hood and a sliver of the Columbia River. Just think about how long it would take you to see all of these places if you weren’t sitting at the winery enjoying a great glass of wine and looking around. An afternoon with friends and great wine is about as nice as you can get for a vacation.
After you visit the winery and before you go on to others you may want to go to the Gorge area where you can swim, have world-class cuisine, hike, fish, windsurf or visit some of the museums in the area. This offers you a whole range of activities to do. Take the time to enjoy the activities and then go out for a world-class dinner at one of the fine restaurants in the area. Put your worries behind you for a while and enjoy the serine environment of the Wine County in Washington.
